Live from Bethlehem 2006

Dec 17th, 1045am was the start of the skit
"Live from Bethlehem" The Sunday Schools kids all had fun.


But first there was practice.. lots of hours of rehearsal.



Of course, there was food after a hard day of rehearsal



Even the sound board had long hours !!



.... then came sunday and all went as planned.
First the little kids of sunday school ......



then the skit itself.. got underway.....

Santuary Poinsettas

In case you haven't seen the wonderful arrangements of Poinsettas in the Santuary, we have them here for you to view.

New Stove is in !!!!

The NEW stove is here ! Yippie !!

9am Saturday morning, it came off the truck.



Now, the work begins to get it up to the kitchen. whew !







The plan called pushing up the rollers to the 2nd floor.,

worked well Arland and his ladder and Mike King and the rollers

made heavy work fairly easy. Considering the stove weight in at 800 lbs !








Now all that remained to do, was hook up the Gas and Electric to it.

A BIG THANKS to all those that helped getting this stove in place. A lot of sweat and grunts, but no one got hurt and nothing got broken... (somebody was watching over us, I think ).

Candy Cane Cards Assembly

Thanks to the Evangelism Group and all the other volunteers you see below that helped to get the Candy Cane Cards ready for Hometown friday.

See.. we many hands the work goes fast !!!!

Decorating the Sanctuary

A Big THANKS to all those that helped at noon last sunday to get the Sanctuary all dressed out for the holidays.

Moving out the Old Stove

Saturday, Nov 18th, Our kitchen is now without a stove, for a while. THANKS to all those that helped muscle that heavy stove out of the kitchen, down the steps and out the door. It took a little time and some thinking, but it got done. In a couple weeks, we will have a new stove.

Building Parking Lot lights

Phase 2 of the parking lot light project got underway this morning, wednesday Nov 8th. Nice weather for it too !!

Looks pretty good at night. You can actually see your keys in your hands anywhere in the lot (or in my case on the ground when I drop them) !
